Introducing the Wind-Down Deck: From Tornado to Snuggle in 6 Cards

If your kid gets WILDER the closer bedtime gets, this one's for you.

We wrote recently about the second wind, that burst of chaos that hits right when you're hoping for calm. The Wind-Down Deck is our answer to it: a bedtime card game built for wired kids ages 3+, played with a parent in about 10–15 minutes.

Why a game? Because "just calm down" has never worked once in the history of parenting. Kids can't skip the wiggles. They have to spend them.

So the deck runs in three phases. TORNADO: ten cards of glorious chaos. Dance party, dinosaur stomps, pillow-fight lightning round. Burn it off. BREEZE: thirteen cards that slow everything down. Dragon breaths, melting snowman, heavy blanket. STILL AIR: twelve cards for the landing. Three good things, cuddle countdown, the last giggle.

What's inside: 37 poker-size cards in a custom tuck box, all in the soft watercolour style of the Cushla brand.

Where things stand: the proof deck survived the toughest critics alive, our three kids. It got playtested hard, tornado round and all, and it passed. The full print run is ordered, and the presale opens here on cushla.ca very soon.
